☄Gingivitis (Gum inflammation)..

Gum diseases (sometimes called periodontal or gingival diseases) are infections that harm the gum and bone that hold teeth in place. When plaque stays on your teeth too long, it forms a hard, harmful covering, called tartar, that brushing doesn’t clean. The longer the plaque and tartar stay on your teeth, the more damage they cause. Your gums may become red, swollen and bleed easily. This is called gingivitis.
If gingivitis is not treated, over time it can make your gums pull away from your teeth and form pockets that can get infected. This is called periodontitis. If not treated, this infection can ruin the bones, gums and tissue that support your teeth. In time, it can cause loose teeth that your dentist may have to remove.

Menstrual pains also Called Menstrual Cramps or Dysmenorrhea are pains in a woman's lower
abdomen that occur when her menstrual period begins (or just before) and may continue for two to three days. They may be throbbing or aching and can be dull or sharp. Symptoms can range in severity from a mild annoyance to severe pain that interferes with normal activities.

Some factors predisposes a woman to experiencing Cramps during her Menses...They include::

She started her first period at an early age (younger than 11 years).
Her menstrual periods are heavy.
She is overweight or obese .
She smokes cigarettes or uses alcohol.
She has never been pregnant .

What's the cause of Menstrual Pains??Cramps?rostaglandins are chemicals a woman's body produces that cause many of the symptoms associated with menstrual discomfort. The tissue that lines the uterus makes these chemicals. Prostaglandins stimulate the uterine muscles to contract. Women who have high levels of prostaglandin may experience more intense
contractions of their uterus and more pain. Prostaglandins may also be responsible for
vomiting , diarrhea , and headaches that accompany painful periods.

This Chemical is secreted within the menstrual Cycle.

Other menstrual-type cramps can be caused by conditions of the reproductive tract, such as the following:
.Endometriosis -- uterine tissue that appears outside the uterus
.Fibroids and adenomyosis -- noncancerous (benign) growths in the uterus

.Abnormal pregnancy, such as an ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy in the tubes, outside the uterus)
.IUD (intra-uterine device) used for birth control
.Ovarian cyst

.Massage to the back and lower abdomen using warm water to relive contraction.
.Exercise, especially prior to the start of a period
.Thiamine (100 mg daily)/Vitamin B complex if Thiamine is not available
.Low-fat vegetarian diet
.Calcium (1,200 mg daily)...
.Use of analgesic like aspirin,paracetamol, naproxen...

A Nigerian National Youth Service Corps member, Silas Igoche Uloko, from Benue State couldn’t cover his joy after surviving a serious road accident while on their way to Edo State on Wednesday, August 16.
His happiness was shared via his brother Abel Uloko, a resident pastor at House on The Rock who composed on Facebook and declared:
“GOD IS FAITHFUL. This is Silas Igoche Uloko my Mothers last child. Having Successfully Completed his program @ the Benue State University, Makurdi, he left my house to Benin for his National Youth Service. He was on his Way to Benin www.forestgist.blogspot.com/corper praises God after surviving a fatal accident city where he was posted together with Fellow Corps Member when they got involved in a Fatal accident.
Two people died on the spot, others are in very critical conditions in the Hospital BUT for Silas, God Spared him! Not even a scratch on his body. Upon examination in the hospital, he was given a clean bill of health as his internal body is in perfect state. He has since been discharged from the hospital.
The last picture of him in this post is his picture after the accident. THIS GOD IS TOO MUCH. Please, Follow me and Thank Jehovah for his Mercies that prevailed for our Family today as always. Our hearts and condolence are with the families of the dead and injured. May the Lord grant your comfort and strength in this your moment of grief and pain in Jesus name Amen!”

JAUNDICE IN NEWBORN BABIES

Assalamu alaykum warahmatullah.
 Today's health will be NEONATAL jaundice(i.e) jaundice in newborn babies. Jaundice is yellowish discoloration of skin and sclera secondary to accumulation of bilirubin in blood.
It is derived from the French word “jaune”. Bilirubin is a chemical substance derived from breakdown of red blood cells in our body.Neonatal hyperbilirubinaemia is when there is elevated bilirubin level in newborn babies.Jaundice is a clinical symptom and sign I.e what patient complaint and clinician see at the same time.While hyperbilirubinaemia  is a laboratory diagnosis.It is very important to know danger signs of jaundice as this might be pointing towards undergoing disease in human body.Jaundice is more commoner in male neonate than female neonate due to unknown reasons Also commoner in preterm than term babies.

Physiologic jaundice has good prognosis ( outcome) and is as a result of immaturity of liver enzymes that normally clear those chemicals( bilirubin) that cause jaundice. It disappears  after 7 days though can be prolonged in premature babies. It is said that all premature babies will develop jaundice after birth.Pathologic jaundice has poor prognosis and it is usually not related to immaturity of liver enzymes but underline diseases   going in the body.

WEDDING NIGHT ACCORDING TO SUNNAH

All Praise is to Allah.
The first wedding night should be a special moment for newlyweds. It should be romantic and intimate. The wedding is a special thing and the night of the wedding must be special too. It is the night where two people embark upon life in a whole new world with its own unique qualities and experiences. The bride and groom may have lived in different worlds before that night and have now come to the state of getting closer to each other and to sharing the same life.
The couple is able for the first time to enjoy what was always before forbidden to them. This new permissibility applies only to each other. For the husband, this person is his wife, his life-partner, the woman who is going to be the mother of his children.
Marriage in Islam is the arrangement for sexual urges within the circle of a religious ritual and is intended to reflect the purest qualities of human love. Of course, this pure and clean unity will need spiritual and bodily unity as well within the bridal chamber and sexual interaction between the husband and his wife should always be done privately. Intercurse should be performed away from others’ observation, including one’s children who live in the same house. The Prophet, Shalallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam, also prohibited men and women from talking to others about the details of what happens in their bedrooms. One is only allowed to reveal what is necessary when there are good reasons, such as medical issues.
There are some etiquette rules according to Sunnah about how to perform marital duties:
– The Prophet, Shalallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam, recommended the husband to be kind to his bride and to comfort her by offering her something to drink when they meet the first time after the wedding.
Narrated Imam Ahmad from the hadith of Asmaa bint Yazeed ibn al-Sakin who said: I prepared and beautified Aishah for the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W). Then he came and I called him to see her in all her beauty. He came and sat next to her. He was brought a large cup that contained milk. He drank and then handed it to her. She lowered her head and was shy. Asmaa then said: I rebuked her and told her to take it from the hand of the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W). She took it and drank some.”
– The husband should place his hand upon his wife’s head and offer a supplication for her.
The Prophet, Shalallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam, recommended the couple to start every intercourse by saying: Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim (In the Name of Allah), and by praying to Allah (making a Du`a’) to protect them from Shatan, and to protect the child from Satan if a child comes from that intercourse. (Narrated by: Bukhari).
The Prophet, Shalallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam, said, “If any one of you marries a woman or buys a servant, he should take her by the forelock, mention Allah’s name [saying, ‘In the Name of Allah’] and pray blessings by saying, ‘O Allah, I ask you for her good and the good of what you have dispositioned her toward and I seek refuge from her evil and the evil you have dispositioned her toward.’” ( Bukhari in Khalaq Afaal al-Ibaad, pg. 22).
He should place his hand upon the front part of her head at the time when he first starts to approach her or after that. He should mention the name of Allah Almighty and then pray for blessings, and then say the supplication that was taught to us by the Prophet (SAW): “O Allah! I ask of you the good of her and the good of what you have placed in her nature, and I seek refuge with you from the bad in her and the bad that you have placed in her nature.” [ Sunan Abî Dâwûd (2160) Sunan Ibn Mâjah (1918)Mustadrak al-Hâkim (2811) and Sunan al-Bayhaqî (7/148)].

Most we girls(even married ones)don't understand this because of much heavy grammars used in talking about/teaching it and we don't listen to our body too atimes.Personally,i don't understand this before but with time as I read, I started listening to my body too
for signs and here I arrived in simple analysis/steps........
👉MENSTRUAL PERIOD:The time blood flows out of your vagina which you uses pad.
👉MENSTRUAL CYCLE:How many days it takes to see another blood in the month.Example,if you saw your period last month June 11th and it came yesterday 10th July 2017...you have 30days Cycle(counting from 11 June to 10July).
NOTE:We are made to believe its 28days cycle......that's a lie, different women different cycles ranging from 21-35days.
👉OVULATION PERIOD:Forget any other heavy grammars... ......
This is time of getting pregnant fast without stress,this is two weeks after your period or two weeks before the next period.
Here's a simple way to calculate your ovulation period(unsafe period)
👉1. From the first day you see the blood of your period.
👉2. Pick up a calendar and count 15days including the first day of the blood stain.
👉3. Mark the 15th day with a pen(circle it).
👉4. Mark 3 days before the 15th day
👉5. Mark 3 days after the 15th day
👉6. You will notice you have 7 days marked.
These 7 days are your ovulation/fertile days also known as unsafe period.
Meaning if you have sex on any of these days then you have 98% chances of being
pregnant.
👉7.Do these every month and try and abide by these rules
EVERY OTHER DAY IS YOUR SAFE PERIOD
For example:
👉1. If your period is today 11th July, 2017,
👉2. 15 days after the first day of the blood
stain will be on 25th of this July too(2weeks after) counting from 11th.
👉3. 15th day is on the 25th July 2017.
👉4. 3days before the 15th day which is 22,23,24.
👉5. 3days after 25th July 2017 which is 26,27,28.
👉6.22th - 28th July(7days) is when you are
ovulating and it's your fertile period.
*******Don't forget that these 7days is to remind you that Sperm stays in the female body for up-to 7 days(a week), any sexual contact in between ovulation period will form something that has ears, eyes etc
......................
Now, if you want to have a baby girl, have
sex between 3days before ovulation(22- 24)2017.
For baby boy will be 25(main ovulation day) and 3days after 25th .....................................
THESE ARE MAJOR SIGNS THAT WILL TELL YOU, YOUR OVULATION IS AROUND.........
You don't need a doctor, just relax after two weeks you feel the following...........
👉1.Headache
👉2.Body temperature rises(sometimes you touch a girl and her body is hot but she is not sick)
👉3.Dizziness(feeling of tiredness and sleepiness )
👉4.Breast tenderness/size increases just like when you are menstruating.
👉5.Increased sex drive(sugar body)
👉6.Light cramping or pain on one side of the pelvis
👉7.Abdominal bloating.
👉8.Heightened sense of smell, taste or vision(you eat more too).
👉9.Vagina mucus becomes slippery(if you notice such, put it in between fingers.. ...it stretches like thick catarrh or snail mucus...colorless just like egg whites.

N/B:The instance I gave here is for ladies with 30days cycle.And someone who saw her period this month July 2017.If yours is 28 then it's 14days instead of 15days

.Anytime you have headache without a cause check back when your period arrived, nothing to worry about just get maltina and peak milk mix both,drink and relax.. .......stop rushing to pharmacist always on issues that can be naturally handled.Drugs are not always good on we girls.From the moment I understood ovulation problems, I stayed off drug............You can take paracetamol only.
